Author Biography:
ZhaoHong Han is Associate Professor of Linguistics and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her research interests are in second language learnability and teachability. She has published in TESOL and applied linguistics journals and is the author of Fossilization in Adult Second Language Acquisition (Multilingual Matters, 2004).; Terence Odlin is Associate Professor of English at Ohio State University. He has edited other volumes on language learning and language contact, and he is the author of Language Transfer as well as several articles on the same subject.
